Just Cause 3 is an open-world GTA-style action-adventure game, the game mark the third installment of the Just Cause series offering amazing visuals and fun physics. Rico is now back in his homeland after six years of the event of the second game, now he must save his homeland from a newly rising dictator under the name of Sebastian Di Ravello. While the game story might be interesting it’s not by any means the main focus of the game.
Instead, developers took great care of the game’s physics including explosions, destructions, grappling hooks mechanics, and many more fun features. The focus of the game didn’t change, you roam the huge island causing chaos and destroying the dictator’s manufacturer and propaganda signs, you can do this by using weapons and explosives or even using your signature grappling hooks mechanic. In addition to the grappling hook and parachute, the new wingsuit is also here allowing you to glide mid-air, other game mechanics have also been updated allowing some creative destruction using the grappling hook tethering mechanics and many more. Subnautica is an open-world survival game with some mild horror elements. The game begins with the spaceship Aurora crashing on the ocean planet 4546B, the player takes control of one of the survivors exploring the vast ocean and unveiling the secret of this mysterious planet.

Assassin’s Creed series took a different approach after Syndicate, the developers choose a new path turning the game toward the RPG genre the new trilogy follows the same gameplay formula with different themes and historical backgrounds. Origins take place in ancient Egypt following the story of Medjay, a young Egyptian seeking revenge upon his son’s killers, Odyssey uses the same formula while taking place in ancient Greece, with a choice to play a male or a female player. Finally, Valhalla is set in the Viking age following a Viking warrior seeking power and authority to establish his new clan.
The three games are all seen from a third-person perspective, the player roams the huge map taking quests from various NPCs. Completing the main and sub-quest will grant the player experience point leveling the character and unlocking new powerful skills to beat the enemies down. Unlike the previous games in the series, the combat system has been entirely changed to fit the action RPG genre establishing a slow-paced combat system with fewer animations and harder executions. Although the new AC trilogy marks a huge departure from the classic formula, Ubisoft made the experience worth it with a huge world and a good historic choice.

Far Cry 5 is an open-world first-person shooter game, the game mark the fifth installment of the Far Cry series. This entry takes place in the fictional land of Hope County, the land is now ruled by a mysterious doomsday cult under the leadership of a charismatic and brutal leader named Joseph Seed. Joseph rules the land of hope with iron and fire forming a militia under the cover of the doomsday plot. The game stick to its predecessor formula offering a first-person shooter open-world game while giving the player the freedom to explore the map both on foot and on vehicles.
Different from the previous games the main playable character’s appearance is now fully customizable to please the audience’s taste and preferences. Also different from the previous games the player now has more freedom to explore the map and engage the enemies in a nonlinear experience, the game urges the player to discover regions and complete certain actions, completing these activities will earn the player resistance points, reaching a certain number will trigger a story event. Also, you can recruit the locals to fight alongside you similar to the Far Cry 4 guns for hire system. On the whole, while Far Cry 5 sticks mostly to its predecessor’s formula the new unique story and the amazing visual upgrades make this game a must-play on the system and a good entry for new players.

Overall, Watch Dogs 2 is a fun ride from start to finish, with an amazing huge open world to explore and a brilliant hacking and combat system.
