Since it is recommended that you form a party of at least 2 in order to complete the Gorgo’s Nightmare of defeating Basilisk Guardians and Basilisk Statues, we advise you to form your party before accepting the quests to decide who will be taking which role in progressing with the event quests. (read below for details on how to progress with the Gorgo’s Nightmare).
  • You can accept these quests with a character of Lv. 56 or above.
  • Gorgo’s Nightmare Fragment has an expiration of 2 hrs. 30 mins. From the point you obtain the item in  your inventory (I). Please mind the duration of the item and don’t forget to turn it into NPC Rahim before it expires. Rahim will not accept an expired item.
  • You can complete the accepted special quest in progress even after the event period ends, but you can not re-accept the quest if you forfeit the accepted quest after December 2nd, 00:00 UTC.
  • Please note Gorgo’s Nightmare Fragment can only be obtained until December 2 (before maintenance).

How to Progress with Gorgo’s Nightmare

  1. Before progressing with Gorgo’s Nightmare, you need to purchase Gorgo’s Nightmare Summon Scroll for Gold Bar 10G from NPC Tarek Yanzi at Rock Post.
  • As it is strongly recommended to form a party of at least 2 before you tackle Gorgo’s Nightmare to face off against Basilisk Guardians and Basilisk Statues, you can progress with Gorgo’s Nightmare even if 1 of the adventurers (in your party) has purchased this item.

2. When you use the ‘Gorgo’s Nightmare Summon Scroll’, a giant Basilisk statue and other Basilisk statues on top of the hill will appear. Note that Basilisk statues on top of the hill will come out in three types and details will be shared below.

3. If you destroy the giant Basilisk statue, <Possessed by Darkness> Basilisk Guardians will appear, and other Basilisk statues on top of the hill will also be activated.

4. When other Basilisk statues on top of the hill are activated, <Possessed by Darkness> Basilisk Guardian’s power will be amplified.

  • It is recommended that one adventurer focuses on defeating the Basilisk statues on top of the hill so that that <Possessed by Darkness> Basilisk Guardian does not amplify its power. Yes this means a collaborative effort of two or more adventurers is recommended!
<Possessed by Darkness> Basilisk Guardian Recommended AP: 280
Basilisk statues on top of the hill Recommended AP: 220
  • Pick the Basilisk monster that suits you best and collaborate by assigning who will take upon which target, and claim the rewards together!

Tips on Defeating Gorgo’s Nightmare

  • Basilisk statues on top of the hill will appear in three types: <Enraged>, <Destructive>, or <Dark>.
  • Check out how to best face off against each of the three types of Basilisk statues on the hill.
<Enraged> Basilisk Statue

<Enraged> Basilisk Statue stimulates surrounding Basilisks to provoke Basilisk Guardian to make it more ferocious and also attacks adventurers. However if the statue is destroyed, the Basilisks lured by the raging power will disperse.

Tip! Destroy the statue on the hill fast first to have an easier battle against the Basilisk Guardian under the hill.

<Destructive> Basilisk Statue

Basilisk Guardian that absorbs the destructive powers from the statues on the hill will inflict stronger attacks.

â–² Basilisk Guardian attacking after absorbing destructive powers.

Tip! If you defeat the statues on the hill while the Basilisk Guardian is absorbing their powers, the powers will flow backward and inflict damage on the Basilisk Guardian!

Try to time yourself to destroy the statues on the hill while the Basilisk Guardian is absorbing their powers.

<Dark> Basilisk Statue

The dark energy of the <Dark> Basilisk Statue will provoke the Basilisk Guardian even more and make it go out of control.

Tip! If you destroy the <Dark> Basilisk Statue, it will shock the Basilisk Guardian to be stunned. Attack the Basilisk Guardian when it is in a stunned state!
