Xrd Sign offers a massive 4-hour animated story mode, split into 10 chapters, and diving deep into Guilty Gear’s world & lore, as well as involving the whole roster, and important story characters from the previous games.
There is no gameplay involved in the Story Mode, you can just sit back, relax and enjoy it! This bred some controversy, as most of us would prefer to actually fight as well during the story – there are too many moments where it makes no sense that we can’t! But it is what it is, and overall I’d dare say it’s one of the best story experiences I’ve ever had in a fighting game!
We have also included all the character side-stories portrayed through the Arcade Mode, developed through character dialogues between battles, and also added them as a YouTube playlist.
