The King of Fighters ’95 is the second main entry of the franchise, and its roster is almost identical to the first game, KOF ’94. The 7 main teams are untouched, and the USA (American Sports Team) from the previous game, is swapped for the Rivals team in this one! The normal Rugal boss turns to Omega Rugal, and we also get an additional Sub-Boss, Saisyu Kusanagi!
It’s also worth noting that KOF ’95 is the beginning of the story arc “Orochi Saga”, that continues with KOF ’96 & KOF ’97 respectively, and it got a lot more attention than its predecessor, since it wasn’t limited to the Neo Geo, but also released for the Sega Saturn and the PlayStation 1.
