The Camera feature can come in handy in a lot of ways, allowing you to create a picture book guide including people, plants, materials, weapons, and many more. A sensor guide can also be added later to guide you if you’re looking for a shrine, object, or even monster.

Unfortunately, the game doesn’t hold your hand showing you exactly where to head to get this feature. But fear not, we are here to help! In today’s guide, we are going to show you how to unlock the camera feature step by step including places maps, and full quests.

Our first destination will be the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower, open the map and teleport toward it, just east of the tower we’re going to pay a visit to Robbie and Josha. As you talk to the two scientists a main quest will be triggered under the name of Camera Work in Depth.

After triggering the quest, our next destination will be the Hyrule Field Chasm, it’s basically a big hole in the ground leading to the Chasm, a dark world underneath Hyrule. Jump on the hole and keep going until you’re inside the chasm.

Once you’re down, you’ll discover a large glowing tree root (Lightroot), so go there and activate it to light up the entire area. Next, we must travel west to the next Lightroot, which must also be activated. Once done, you will find Robbie, who will offer you the camera if you speak to him. Robbie will ask you to photograph the statue ahead of you; open the ability wheel, select your camera, and snap the photographs.

Speak to Robbie again, and he’ll take the image and ask you to follow him back to the Lookout Landing. Once there, you can talk to him one last time, finishing the quest and obtaining the camera once and for all.
