If you’re planning on exploring the expansive desert of Gerudo town, your first stop should be the Skyview Tower. Before you can begin your journey, however, you’ll need to open up the map. To do so, you’ll have to activate the command tablet, which is used to unlock the map and provide vital information about the surrounding area.

Unfortunately, when you arrive at the Skyview Tower for the first time, you’ll discover that the command tablet is broken. But don’t worry, in this guide, we’ll show you how to fix the tablet and get the tower up and running as quickly as possible.

As you make your way to the Skyview Tower, you’ll likely spot a large metal cube situated behind the wooden construction materials. It’s hard to miss, just use the Ultra Hand ability to move the giant cube, and bring it back to the elevator in front of the Tower.

Upon reaching the elevator in front of the Skyview Tower, you’ll notice a metal chain dangling from above. At the end of the chain, you’ll see a small cubic piece of metal that looks like it’s just waiting to be used. To repair the tower, you’ll need to attach the giant metal cube you moved earlier to the small metallic cube on the chain.

Once you’ve done so, the weight of the cube will trigger the elevator to start moving, carrying the tower engineer, Sawson, up to your location. As Sawson arrives, he’ll take a look at the broken command tablet and begin to work his magic. With his expertise, he’ll quickly diagnose the issue and set to work fixing the broken components.
