Rune Factory 5 Limited Edition Contents & Outfits

Rune Factory 5 has been long-awaited by the series’ fans, and with its exclusive Switch release (exclusive for how long I wonder ?) we got a quite underwhelming physical limited edition. It does contain the essentials – artbook & soundtrack – but the only extra item is the game’s steelbook.

The good news is that the normal keep case of the game is included too, so it will fit nicely in your collection, without standing out from the rest.

In UK, the limited edition was only sold by Game, and it included an extra Game-exclusive item, a Wooly Bag Tag, which is a cute extra, sweetening the deal.

It’s worth mentioning that the US version is called “Earthmate Edition”, while in EU & AUS it’s just “Limited Edition”. There are no differences in the contents between them.

15 In-Game Outfits

Rune Factory 5’s limited edition, includes 15 outfits from Rune Factory 4’s bachelors & bachelorettes, that you can use as soon as you finish the tutorial. Sadly, you can only wear your character’s gender outfits, so 8 for females and 7 for males.

Not that it matters a lot, but it’s worth mentioning that the outfits are included in the physical cartridge of the limited edition, so you won’t even need an internet connection to use them (you’ll need for day 1’s patch though).
