Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth is an excellent video game adaptation of the ROLW series and a criminally underrated title you should keep on your radar. It’s quite a shame that it’s one of the few less spoken-about, as it’s a fantastic addition to the ROLW franchise. Based on the fantasy novel series from 1988 by Ryo Mizuno, the game loosely follows the story of the former.
Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth takes inspiration from several games such as Konami’s emblematic Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Treasure’s Ikaruga, resulting in a unique take on the Metroidvania genre. The game features intense bullet-hell sequences against challenging bosses, and its gorgeous art style adds to its appeal along with the thoroughly engrossing gameplay.
For those who are new to the ROLW franchise, it’s worth noting that it has a rich and extensive history and is still popular today. Therefore, exploring this world is a worthwhile endeavour for newcomers.

One of the major drawbacks of SD Gundam Battle Alliance is its grind-heavy system for acquiring the most powerful mobile suits. If you possess the patience to endure repetitive gameplay and lengthy grinding sessions, then this game may not prove to be particularly challenging for you. However, if you are unwilling to tolerate such a gameplay experience, then SD Gundam Battle Alliance may not be the right game for you.
