Baldur’s Gate 3, is an epic RPG game with a large dedicated community, and it’s only natural that the mods will appear sooner or later. Its fanbase didn’t waste time and got working on them to improve and enhance the already amazing experience.

The mods featured here range from gameplay improvements, that can make the game easier or more difficult, to visual enhancements. All of them can be found on the BG3 NexusMods page, but we will include links to each one.

Full Release Mod Fixer

Carry Weight Increased

With this mod, your carry weight will be increased, and you can even set a limit to what you can carry. It can range from 1.5 increase, while the mod offers you to go up to the x900 carry limit. A perfect mod for those players who like to collect everything.

Achievement Enabler

The purpose of this mod is simple. It will allow you achievements for both GOG and Steam, even when you have mods installed. Goes without saying that you should get this one if you’re a completionist type of player.

Fast XP

This mod will allow you to either get to level 6 very fast or have double XP throughout the whole game. Essentially, this mod will allow you to reach level 6 fast,  and it is perfect for all those players that have played in Early Access and don’t want (or don’t have the time) to deal with low-level characters. More importantly, this mod will not ruin the balance of the game but instead will help you get through Prologue and Act 1 much faster.

If you choose to double the XP throughout the whole game, then it will halve the XP requirements. This will allow you to level up twice as fast.

Feat Every Level

With this mod, you will be able to get a feat each time you level up, except for level 1. So, if you’re unable to choose which feat you want, then with this mod you can have up to 10 of them if you like. There is also compensation for level 1 and levels when you were supposed to get a feat because some classes don’t have bonuses at those levels.

Gold Weight Zero

Level 20 (Multiclass)

Lone Wolf Mode

This mod will allow you to play as Lone Wolf, which is inspired by the perk of the same name from Divinity Original Sin 2. It is intended to be used with 2 characters maximum.
The mod is toggleable passive and is located in your Character sheet, under the Common tab. It will also give you several benefits, such as 1 additional charge, increased hit points by 30%, increased carry capacity by 50%, and a 1d4 bonus to all d20 rolls.

So, if you want to ditch the party and go for a solo experience, then give this one a try.

5e Spells

5e Spells mod adds and modifies numerous unimplemented spells in the game. It adds additional spells, from the 1st level up to the 9th, but most of them are low-level spells.

This mod will help you achieve the perfect desired look for your character. It will completely overhaul the original character creation system, giving you even more options.
Everything is covered, from eye color, hair color, hairstyles, ear shapes, and almost every tiny detail that you can think of during character creation.

The author AlanaSP, is also updating the mod adding even more features, and is always willing to look for feedback and suggestions. Customizer’s Compendium also gives you a great reason to start your second playthrough.

If you’re not satisfied with the original hair options, then this mod by Toarie is the one that you need. It provides numerous hairstyles for Humans, Elves, Half-Elves, Drow, Tiefilings, and a few extras in there. The quality of the mod is obvious, as each new hairstyle is stunning and with plenty of variety.

Please note that you will need other mods, for it to work properly (ImprovedUI ReleaseReady), and a Patch 3 Mod Fixer. If you’re somewhat experienced in modding this shouldn’t be a problem, otherwise, follow the instructions on the mods page.
