The Mortal Kombat 11 roster left a lot of fans disappointed (but isn’t this always the case with fighting games??). That’s because there are quite a few favorites missing (in future Kombat Packs we trust?), like Mileena (Netherworld I HATE you❤), Kenshi, Goro, Reptile… Let’s put the disappointment aside though, because MK11 is by far the best entry in the 3-decade-long franchise!

Character Selection Screen, Mortal Kombat 11

Hopefully, after the release of (what seems to be the last DLC) Kombat Pack 2, some holes have been fulfilled, like Mileena, and instead of Goro we got Shiva. No Kenshi / Takeda is still bad, and I can’t believe how Reptile is still not here! Maybe they’ll put him out as a last goodbye or something? Who knows!

Mortal Kombat X was a huge upgrade from its predecessor, and somehow 11 is almost as huge! The attention to character details is ridiculous, the wealth of skins & skinnable gear is immense – and of course, the most important – the mechanics, animations & frames are just fantastic.

Enough with praising the best fighting game of all times (SFV I’m looking at you STRAIGHT in the eyes?), let’s dive in, and meet the Roster of Mortal Kombat 11!

  • The 1st Kombat Pack, released on April 23, 2019, adding 6 additional characters: Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, The Terminator, Sindel, The Joker & Spawn. Unique character collaborations are always welcome, as long as Mileena is included in Kombat Pack 2?.
  • A story expansion, Aftermath, released on May 26, 2020, adding 3 additional characters that can also be purchased separately: Fujin, Sheeva and Robocop.
  • The 2nd Kombat Pack, released on November 17, 2020, adding 3 additional characters: Rain, Rambo and Mileena.
  • The Ultimate Edition (also sold as an upgrade to existing accounts) includes all 3 expansions mentioned, and all 37 available characters.
