Bows are one of the most important weapons in Tears of the Kingdom; these bad boys can save you during the most difficult battles by simply striking the monster’s weak points. Bows come in a variety of shapes and sizes, each with a basic attack and a particular effect such as Multi Shots, Long Distance, or high durability. In today’s article, we’ll go through the best bows in the game, including all areas and a variety of unique effects.

Table of Contents

Demon King Bow

The Demon King Bow, as the name suggests, comes from the Demon King’s henchmen. This bow draws its power from Link’s heart, therefore the more hearts you have, the stronger your bow will be. The sole disadvantage of using this bow is the constant gloom damage, so pack some Gloom resistant items if you intend to use it.

Great Eagle Bow

Once wielded by the strongest warriors of Rito Village, the Great Eagle Bow is considered one of the four legendary weapons in Hyrule. This incredible bow provides a significant amount of attack power with up to 28 and a triple multi-shot bonus, as well as exceptional durability when compared to other bows. This bow, however, cannot be obtained through normal ways; instead, you must build it using three different items.

You can check our full guide here on how to get the Great Eagle Bow.

Savage Lynel Bow

The Savage Lynel Bow is by far the best bow in Tears of the Kingdom, not only because it has the highest attack of any bow, but also because it comes with an excellent Multi Shot bonus. Although the bow can vary in stats depending on the type of Lynel you defeated to obtain it. This bow is a must-have for any experienced player. However, obtaining it is not easy because you must farm Lynels in order to obtain one, so make sure to equip yourself with food and a stronger weapon before attempting the hunt.

Royal Guard’s Bow

If you want the best single-shot bow in Tears of the Kingdom the mighty Royal Guard Bow will come in handy. This bow has an attack power of 50 but it always comes with a downside, the bow’s durability is very low. This bow can be found easily across Hyrule Castle alongside other powerful weapons like the Royal Guard Sword, and the Royal Guard Claymore.

Forest Dweller’s Bow

The Forest Dweller’s Bow is one of many weapons crafted by the Koroks, made out of wood this bow has the attack power of 15 in addition to a triple multishot buff. If you’re still very early on the game I recommend checking our guide on how to get this bow instead of farming Lynels for a Multishot bow.

Zonaite Bow

Wielded by the strongest Soldier Construct the Zonaite Bow is an amazing choice for beginners, the bow offers a generous attack power of 30 and amazing durability for long-time use. This bow can be obtained by visiting various shrines at the Sky Island or confronting Archer Soldier Construct that wields this bow.

Gerudo Bow

As its name indicates Gerudo Bow was wielded by Gerudo female warriors from a long time ago, with a base attack of 25 and a decent durability you might ask yourself why this bow is so special. Well, let me tell you, my friend, unlike other bows in this list this bow has a long range. You can shoot from a long distance and hit any monster’s weak spot, this can come in handy with flying monsters and of course the legendary Gleeoks. You can find this bow at Kara Kara Bazar Lake for the first time, then after that, you can hunt down the bow killing Like Likes across the Gerudo Desert and Gerudo Highlands.

Royal Bow

The Royal Bow is the definition of a well-balanced bow, it comes with a solid power attack of 38 and outstanding durability compared to other bows on this list. This bow can come in handy for long use, especially against giant bosses like Lynels, Gleeoks, or even Taluses and such. The Royal Bow can be found at Hyrule Castle as well as in other parts of Hyrule including Mount Dunsel Cave.

Dusk Bow

The Dusk Bow is yet another legendary weapon that was used by Princess Zelda herself, this bow comes with an attack power of 30 and an outstanding long range compared to other bows. Its durability sits in the middle with mild durability compared to other durable bows. The Dusk Bow can be obtained easily by visiting the highest summit of Hyrule Castle, keep in mind that you can always get the weapon from the same location after each Blood Moon.

Steel Lizal Bow

The Steel Lizal Bow is an amazing choice for beginners since you can acquire it by simply defeating Lizalfos, this amazing bow comes with an attack power of 36 which is good if you take in mind how easily you can get it. In addition, its durability is considerably high compared to other bows which makes it an amazing bow for casual encounters. As I said previously this bow can be easily acquired by hunting down Lizalfos around Hyrule.
