Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Twilight Armor Set

The Twilight Armor Set returns as a love letter to fans of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. The Armor set can be obtained by using Amiibo, however the game, as always, provides a second option to own the armor without the need for Amiibos. In today’s guide, we’ll show you where to find each item, including the Cap of Twilight, Tunic of Twilight, and Trousers of Twilight.

The Cap of Twilight Location

Gleeok Den

Our first destination will be the Gleeok Den North West of the fire temple, keep in mind that we have to fight the King Gleeok, so don’t forget to gear up and cook as much gloom-resistant food as you can. The main gimmick of defeating this fearsome dragon is to shoot his three heads in order to stun him, you can do this from the land, or while flying which makes things much easier.

I recommend fusing some rockets with your shields and utilizing them to get high enough to blast the dragon from above using the slow-motion effect. When you finish the fight, the gloom will fade from the treasure chest and you will be able to obtain the Cap of Twilight.

Kawikatisar Lightroot

Our next destination will be Kawikatisar Lightroot Southeast of the volcanic area in the Depth. If you’re still early in the game I would recommend scouting the area and lighting every Lightroot until the map is clearly visible.

Rist Mine

As you can see in the screenshots there is a little tunnel northeast of Kawikatisar Lightroot, that’s where we need to go. Gather some light seeds and get ready for the adventure. Keep going inside the tunnel, while clearing any enemies that come in your way, the tunnel takes a spiral shape all the way to the end. Once you reach the end of the mine, activate the Lightroot inside it, just ahead of you is the treasure chest containing the Tunic of Twilight.

Niuzimod Lightroot

Next, we need to reach Niuzimod Lightroot, this lightroot is located southeast of the volcanic area in depth. Again, if your map is still empty, I recommend activating all the lightroots around to make things easier with a clear vision.

Ancient Underground Fortress

Just ahead of the Niuzimod Lightroot is the Ancient Underground Fortress, this fortress is full of monsters so keep an eye on them and clear the fort out of monsters one by one. Once the fortress is clear you can open the treasure chest as located in the screenshots.
