Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - How to Defeat Battle Talus

The Battle Talus is essentially a common talus with a Bokoblin stronghold mounted on its back. To conclude the job, the player must first deal with the Bokoblin and then head up on the Talus back. Today, we’re going to give you a quick tutorial on how to safely destroy the Battle Talus utilizing only your diving ability and a decent sword.

Defeating the Bokoblins

First of all, we need to deal with the Bokoblin first, you can do that by using a bow and a bunch of materials, or you can approach the monster and ascend on its back defeating the Bokoblin in close-range combat.

Finishing the Battle Talus

After defeating the Bokoblin, you need to approach the Talus very carefully while using the ascend ability to get on its back once there look out for a big black ore. Use your weapons to attack the black ore on the Talus’ back, just keep in mind that a rock-based weapon can be very effective against this monster so you can prepare for the battle by fusing some random rocks into your swords.

Using the Bow

You can also defeat the battle Talus using the bow only, all you need here is to gain the upper ground and spam a bunch of arrows toward the black ore on its back. You can also use some Keese Eyeballs if you want to finish the monster from the floor, the arrows will curve and hit the black ore automatically leading to a flawless victory.

Using the Stone Talus Heart

The stone Talus heart can be very useful if you’re willing to fuse it with your swords or spears. The heart can upgrade the weapon’s power to +13 points offering an amazing fusion material that can help you later on in your battles.
