Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Rubber Armor Set

The Rubber Armor set offers full protection from thunder-based attacks, the armor can be later upgraded to include extra bonuses and higher defense points. Like many armor sets in the game. The Rubber Armor set, like many other armor sets in the game, is made up of three separate parts that can be found in dark caverns across Hyrule. How to Get the Rubber Helm?

Our first destination will be Sarion Woods Caves, you can find this cave southeast of Lake Hylia deep down in Sarjon Woods. Once you’re there you’re going to notice that the cave doors are covered in vines, use a sharp sword to cut the vines and get in.

Basically, this cave is full of water so all we need to do is keep swimming while following the stream. Just keep in mind that several Horriblins will cross your way so make sure to stand on the little rocks on the side and shoot the Horriblins to fall in the water and die.

Continue swimming all the way until you see a giant Cave Worm, climb the platform on your right, and kill the Cave Worm, now use the ultra to move the big tree trunk over to the vines that block the way. Once done jump in the water, get on the trunk and use a sharp sword to cut the vines.

Once again the water stream will take you down until you meet a giant waterfall, no need to be afraid keep going down to the feet of the waterfall, just right ahead of you the treasure room will be clearly visible.

How to Get the Rubber Armor?

Our next destination will be the Whistling Hill Cave southeast of Hyrule Field. Once you’re at the exact location you’ll notice that the cave is blocked by rocks, use a hammer or some bombs to open up the cave and get in. Keep going straight until you find an entry covered in vines, use a sharp sword to cut the vines and continue.

After that, you’ll find a huge hole in the ground, glide your way down until you find some skeletons, defeat the skeletons and keep going straight until you meet a dead end. On the dead end turn to the left and use Ascend to get over the rock platform.

You can ignore the armored Cave Worm and keep going, once more you’ll find some breakable rocks, break them and keep going. Another cave worm will be guarding the treasure room, defeat it and use a bomb arrow to break the rocks behind the Cave Worm. Climb up to claim the second piece of the Rubber Armor set.

How to Get the Rubber Tights?

Our last destination will be Horon Lagon Cave southeast of Zora Domain, the best way to access this cave is by diving from the sky so make sure to use a nearby Skyview Tower. Once you’re on the location you’re going to notice a giant hole in the ground, very hard to miss all you need to do is glide your way down the hole until you reach the inside of the cave.

Once you’re in be aware of the Horriblins, clear the area, and keep swimming over that tight passage, follow the water path until you reach a rock surrounded by pointy rocks. Get on the rock and use a bomb arrow/flower to break the rocks on the wall, jump in and climb to access the treasure room, and claim the last piece of the armor.
