The Flame Gleeok is one of many new mini-bosses faced in Tears of the Kingdom, this dragon-like creature can fly and unleash elemental attacks depending on his type. When flying in the sky, the Flame Gleeok may shoot fireballs from his mouth, push you away with his massive wings, and perform deadly fire attacks.

Although the battle can be difficult in comparison to other mini-bosses in the game, it’s a good deal when you consider the amazing items that the dragon drops. In today’s guide, we’ll go over how to defeat the Flame Gleeok in detail, including battle tips, the monster’s weaknesses, and the prizes.

How to Stun the Flame Gleeok?

First of all, you need to be very careful take a distance, and gear up with a good bow and a dozen of arrows. our first goal is knocking the Flame Gleeok down, this can be done by hitting each of his three heads with an arrow. You can do this by standing on a higher platform, on foot, or up high in the sky.

Using Keese/Aerocuda Eyeballs

Keese/Aerocuda eyeballs can be super effective if you’re having a hard time when aiming at the heads, merging your arrows with Keese/Aerocuda eyeballs will create a homing arrow that will hit one of the dragon faces even when you’re aiming is not accurate.

Using Ice Arrows

Merging arrows with ice-based items can also be super effective since Flame Gleeok’s weakness is ice, you can use one of many ice-based items including Sapphire, Ice Chu Chu, Ice Fruit, and many more.

Using the Gleeok Flames to perform a slow-motion shoot

This method is my favorite since you can hit the three heads in one shot. All you need to do is wait for the Gleeok to shoot some fireballs, sprint to avoid the attack, and sprint back to use the flames to fly up in the sky, once you’re near the flaming ground hit the jump button, and open up the glider. Mid-air you can now shoot with your bow in slow motion this will give you the opportunity to hit all three heads in a row.

Attacking the Flame Gleeok After Knocking it Down

After hitting the monster’s three heads it will succumb to the ground allowing you to deal some massive damage. Rush toward the monster’s head and use a melee attack to take down as much health as you can. After a while, the Flame Gleeok will stand up and start attacking once more, repeat the same process as stated above and the victory is yours.

Rewards

Since the battle is fairly challenging the reward is also hugely generous, as you can see on the screenshot you’re going to get an item for each dragon’s head. The Gleeok Flame Horn offers 30 Fuse Attack Power and a flaming attack boost when fused with weapons. Gleeok Wings offer 24 fuse attack power and a ranged attack boost that can be used when throwing weapons, or even with arrows.
