Franchise The Legend of Zeldaâ„¢ |
The Scimitar of The Seven and the Daybreaker Shield are legendary weapons used by Gerudo heroes in the past. The shield has amazing defensive power and a lovely look, while the Scimitar of The Seven offers destructive power for a one-handed sword.
Fusing any item with this legendary sword doubles its power, creating a weapon that is far more powerful than the others. In today’s guide, we’ll go through the requirements for obtaining these two legendary weapons, including side quests, how to craft them, and what items are required to craft these two weapons.
Our first destination will be the Jewelry Shop at Gerudo Town, once you’re there talk to the lady named Cara, she will tell you that the shop owner is missing. Now we need to rescue the shop owner all you need to do is head to Toruma Dunes, you can use a flying device just like I did to locate the owner easily.
Once you reach the located destination you will notice a smoke signal coming from far, land there and talk to the owner, she will tell you that she’s stuck because a giant Molduga is lurking around. Now our goal is to defeat the Molduga, the easiest way to do this is to throw some Time Bomb capsules, he’ll come to the bomb and swallow it. Once he swallows it it will explode inside his stomach leaving him vulnerable to your attacks, head down and feed him some sword strikes, once he regains consciousness head back to the hill and repeat the same process.
Now that the Molduga is defeated, the shop owner will head back to Gerudo Town. Teleport back to Gerudo and head to the Jewelry Shop, the two shop owners will give you a diamond as a reward for saving the owner.
Now one more time talk back to the Jewelry Shop owner, she will tell you that she can craft the two legendary weapons by using four items, 4 diamonds, 10 Pieces of Flint, a Gerudo Scimitar, and a Gerudo Shield.
Gerudo Shield can easily be obtained by farming Like Likes in the Gerudo area. I discovered a Like Like in the West Gerudo Underground Ruins; just remember to save before beating the Like Like so you may restart if you don’t acquire the Gerudo Shield on the first try. Don’t worry, there’s a very good possibility you’ll get the shield on the first or second try.
Just like the Shield, Gerudo Scimitar can be farmed out of Like Likes, but I wasn’t lucky enough to find any Scimitars on the Like Likes I killed. so I decided to take another shot at the underground of Palu Wasteland. If you reach the location on the screenshot, you will notice a small sand vortex on the ground; jump on it to access the underground. All you have to do now is search the cells for a Gerudo Scimitar.
Obtaining diamonds can be a difficult task; you can begin by mining around Goron, but this approach will take a long time and has a low probability of success. So I took the alternative route and just bought them at Goron City; four diamonds will cost you 4000 Rupees; if you’re low on cash, check out our advice on how to farm rupees here.
Now assuming that you have all the required components let’s head back to Isha to start crafting the two legendary weapons. Isha will take a second to make you the two weapons, now they are all yours. Just keep in mind that these two weapons are breakable so this whole process can be done over and over again as long as you have the items to begin crafting. I prefer to save the Scimitar of the Seven for tougher battles especially when farming Lynels.
