The Frostbite Armor Set is one of many newly introduced armor sets in Tears of the Kingdom, this set is similar to the other elemental set in the game where you can take advantage of the weather to gain elemental boosts. The three armor pieces—the Frostbite Headdress the Frostbite Shirt, and the Frostbite Trousers—will all be covered in detail in today’s guide.
Our first destination will be Lake Kilsie Cave, as its name implies the cave is located far north of Lake Kilsie. Just keep in mind that the cave entry is way down the cliff so you can dive down the mountains until you reach the bottom of the lake.
Once you’re in the cave, you’re going to notice an upward gush of wind jump in and use your glider to fly up. Just ahead of you, you’re going to notice some pointy ice boulders, use the slow-motion shoot to break them and glide your way toward the little cave entry. Once more break the rocks on the small cave entry to gain access to the treasure room where the Frostbite Headdress is located.
Our next location will be Brightcap Cave east of Rito Village, Getting the Frostbite Shirt is pretty straightforward all you need to do is keep going inside the cave, you can choose to eliminate the enemies or just sprint your way to avoid them. At the end of the cave, you’re going to find the treasure room surrounded by thorns, burn the thorns and claim your second armor piece.
Our last destination will be Hebra Headspring Cave on the Northeast of Rito Village. Head inside the cave and start climbing the three snow platforms from the smallest to the biggest. Once you’re on top of the biggest one you’re going to notice a little cave entry on the other side. Use the ability of the sage of the wind to glide all the way up to the small cave, get in and claim the last piece of the Frostbite Armor Set.
