Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Great Eagle Bow

The Great Eagle Bow is a legendary weapon previously carried by Rito Village’s most powerful warriors. In-game this bow is one of the best bows to acquire with the ability to shoot multiple shots and 28 of attack power. This guide will provide you with the information on how to obtain this legendary bow including the side quests and items required.

Starting Legacy of the Rito Side Quest

In order to start Legacy of the Rito Side Quest you need to finish all the main quests that cover Rito village, so if you’re still very early on the game please follow the main quest before attempting this guide. Now our first destination will be Rito Village, take the stairs all the way up to the room where Teba is located, and once there talk to him to start the side quest. He will ask you to bring him a Swallow Bow, Five Bundles of wood, and three Diamonds.

Swallow Bow Location

The Swallow Bow can be found at the Flight Range near Donoc’s Pass, all you need to do is talk to Kaneli the giant bird for the first time. After that reach out to his right side and pick up the Arrows and the Swallow Bow.

How to get  Diamonds?

Diamonds can be acquired using multiple ways in Tears of the Kingdom. For example, you can find rare mining stones, save before breaking them and keep loading your save until you get a diamond. Another way is by farming Taluses across Hyrule or inside the depth. My favorite is by simply buying the diamond from Goron City, keep in mind that a piece of diamond will cost you 1000 rupees so make sure to farm some rupees before visiting the shop.

How to Get Woods?

Wood is the easiest to acquire out of all three components, all you need to do is chop some trees using your sword. Once the tree is down, chop it one more time to create wood.

Making the Great Eagle Bow

Now that we have all three components, head back to Ritto Village and reach the top once again. Give Teba the three items and he will make you the bow in seconds, now the bow is all yours, keep in mind that you can always remake the bow after breaking it by visiting Teba and completing the same side quest over and over again. Now as you can see the bow offers a generous amount of 28 attack power and a triple shot which makes it one of the most effective weapons against bosses like Lynels, and Gleeoks.
