The Sheik’s Mask returns to Tears of the Kingdom, paying homage to Ocarina of Time fans with its iconic Design and stealthy buff. Although the mask can be obtained by just utilizing Amiibos (Sheik Super Smash Bros), we will show you how to obtain the Mask without the need for any Amiibos. Just bear in mind that you will need to go far into the depths, so make sure you are well-equipped.
Our first destination will be the East Gerudo Chasm, from there we are going to jump deep down in the depth. If this is the first time for you in this part of the depth make sure to bring enough light seeds since the environment will be very dark. If you want to take a shortcut all you need to do is keep going to the south-west, as you can see on the screenshot the blue dot is where you’re going to land and the red dot is our destination where the Mask is hidden. So it’s all up to you, you can also go the west light the lightroots and make the trip from there without the need of constantly using Light Seeds.
When you arrive at the place indicated by a red dot, you will find a massive structure, which is the Desert Coliseum. Once you enter the Coliseum, you will notice a gloomy chest; if you approach it, the Coliseum will close and a trial will begin.
The challenge consists of many waves of Horriblins that will try to take you down, so keep your distance and stun them with your bow; you can even stun all of them in one hit with dazzling fruits. Once they’re down, rush in and use your sword to hack them up. The combat will become more difficult with each wave, so keep an eye on your health, and don’t be afraid to use food to heal.
Once the trial is done, the gloom will fade away from the chest allowing you to claim your precious reward. Keep in mind that Sheik’s Mask cannot be dyed but it can be upgraded at any Fairy Foutain.
