The Phantom Armor Set is one of the numerous Tears of the Kingdom treasures; to obtain the whole set, the player must travel throughout Hyrule, encountering caves and even huge deserts. The armor set has three pieces: the Phantom Helmet, Phantom Greaves, and Phantom Armor. When compared to other armors, wearing the full armor considerably increases Link’s attack and greatly improves his defense.

Phantom Helmet

Location

Our first destination to obtain the Phantom Helmet is to visit the Puffer Beach chores. The beach is located exactly south of Lake Hylia as shown in the pictures.

Getting the Phantom Helmet

Once you have reached the exact marked location on the pictures, you can tilt the camera to look up a cave just over you. You can access the cave by either combining the Ultra Hand, Rewind, and Ascend ability, fusing a rocket to your shield, or you can simply use a ballon to fly up the cave hole.

Once you’re in the cave you need to clean up your way some Horriblin will be there so use your bow to take them down to the floor and finish up using melee attacks. Once clear you can head straight up to the heart of the cave you will find the Phantom Helmet waiting for you.

Phantom Armor

Location

We need to move up West of Hyrule field, beneath Rutile Lake. Once you’re there keep going down the river to reach the exact point marked on the map. upon arriving you will see the entrance of our cave Tamio River Downstream Cave.

Getting the Phantom Armor

At the entrance of the cave, you will find two Horriblins welcoming you, you can deal with these two easily stunning them with your bow and rushing on land to finish them. Once the cave entrance is clean keep moving forward to the second cave.

You will notice Gloom Hands right beneath you you can simply glide away to avoid the battle, or get down and beat up the Gloom Hands, your choice. Personally, I avoided the battle by gliding forward. once you’re down the ground keep up to your right until you find some breakable rocks.  Break the rocks and climb up to find the Phantom Armor waiting for you!

Getting the Phantom Greaves

Location

Our next destination is East Barrens South East of Gerudo Town. Upon arriving at the exact location you will notice a couple of quicksand holes, all we need to do is to jump on one specific hole to get down to the treasure.

Ancient Altar Ruins

I marked down the exact hole by a treasure chest as shown in the pictures, jump in the quicksand and you will be absorbed down to Ancient Altar Ruins. You can now claim your reward and the last piece of the Phantom Armor Set.
